Problem 1: The direct combustion of coal into coal deep processing until the production of carbon-based (prime) materials is seen as a fundamental change in the world and China's coal energy. 80% of petroleum-based raw materials are directly burned as combustion, and less than 20% of the remaining part is used to produce synthetic materials including plastics. It can be said that the emergence of plastics and other synthetic polymers is a high-value by-product produced by the optimal utilization of oil as energy, bringing revolutionary convenience to human life and also an epoch-making technological creation!

Question 2: There are 1 billion pieces of waste tires in the world every year, why is it not called "black pollution"? The reasons are as follows: First, rubber tires have a large proportion and cannot fly or float like plastic; Second, they are basically collected and processed in an orderly manner.

Question 3: The stone tools, pottery, bronze and iron discarded after human use have been buried in the ground for hundreds of years, thousands of years or even tens of thousands of years. Many of them have not been isolated and degraded but have become unearthed cultural relics! Modern large-scale use of cement building objects (such as bridges, buildings, roads, tunnels, etc.) abandoned, if not broken, blown up, have you ever seen natural degradation? Construction concrete waste is as high as hundreds of millions of tons per year, which is not called "gray pollution". The reasons are as follows: first, the composition of concrete is more complex and can not be absorbed by the environment, and the proportion of concrete is larger; second, it is basically centralized landfill; similarly, so is glass, so is metal materials.

Question 4: Although people can not yet determine the exact age of segregation or degradation of various materials in the natural environment, it is certain that compared with stone tools, ceramics, cement, glass, steel, aluminum and copper, plastics are shorter for decades, hundreds or even thousands of years.

The concept of "white pollution", on the one hand, stems from people's bad sense of discarded plastic, on the other hand, it stems from the impact of a large number of disposable plastic products discarded at will on the ecological environment. Due to the light weight and thin texture, plastic bags, plastic bottles, and plastic films are extremely easy to float and move with the wind. In fact, they are more "visual pollution". If the plastic is not used as a cheap disposable products, especially if it is not discarded after use, "white pollution" will not buckle to the plastic head.
